"The band, however, was absolutely FANTASTIC. I was let down by the sound mix, though. The sound up where I was sitting was a complete mess. The vocal mikes were not turned up sufficiently. When Dave spoke, not a single word was comprehensible from our position. His singing was barely audible. During instrument solos, it appeared they were giving it their all, but their mikes were not amplified enough for us to appreciate their distinct sounds. Maybe it's the venue, maybe our seats were the issue. Two years ago, I watched The Police there and could catch every single detail. The sound engineer plays a crucial role! Unfortunately, this one did not meet expectations."
